Florida 2012

Each year my parents rent a house in The Villages, Florida. We went to visit them this month. We drove the entire 15 hour drive to get there without stopping and the kids did impressively well in the van! The weather was a little chilly at the beginning of the week, but we still had lots of fun. We visited Homosassa Springs Zoo, played shuffleboard, swam and danced in the square in the evening. Lucas especially liked making trips to the grocery store via golf cart. :) Here are some pictures from our trip!

Allie is 11 Months Old!

I can't believe my baby girl will be 1 in a month! Allie loves to eat and has recently tried whole milk out of her sippy cup as she only nurses twice a day. She is starting to transition to one afternoon nap and will sleep from 2-4 (mostly:). She is slowly starting to wear size 12 month clothes, and it's a good thing because we have had some summer-like weather lately! She likes to cruise along the couch and pull up on things to stand, but hasn't taken her first steps quite yet. She says "mama", "da", "that", "duck", "doll" and likes to wave and say "hi". She is also a big fan of pointing to things. She is on the go so it was tricky trying to get a picture of her this month!
