Addison's First Birthday Party

Last year around this time there were four of us in the neighborhood expecting babies. Shauna's daughter Addison arrived first! We celebrated her 1st birthday with her on Saturday. My how time flies!

First Haircut

This week has been momentous for Lucas. He took his first steps, a new tooth came in and he had his first haircut! Here are some pictures from the Burke Barbershop. They did a great job-thanks for the suggestion Andrea!

Father's Day

I think Steve enjoyed his first Father's Day! When he woke up I had his favorite breakfast ready-eggs benedict. During the day we visited an antique car show which was right up his alley. Then for dinner I served his special request-pasta carbonara. It was a great day!

Logan's First Birthday Party

Lucas took Steve and I to his buddy Logan's party yesterday at Gravelly Point. It was near Reagan National Airport and we could watch the planes fly overhead. It was a great party and we had a lot of fun!

Visit With the Walshes

This past week we had the Walsh family over for a cookout. It was so good to spend some time with them! Our little ones were born about 2 weeks apart last summer and it was so great to be able to go through that experience with them. And look at the kiddos now!!

11 Months Old

Lucas is now one month away from the big birthday! I can't believe how fast time has gone by. Lucas has started to say a few words (mama, daddy, ducky, doggy, flowers, bubbles and ball) and he is able to stand alone without any support for long periods of time. We are just waiting for those first steps, they could be any day! He is also becoming a more adventurous eater. He loves gnocchi and ravioli, and is starting to eat the things we eat for dinner in small bites. He is such a big boy!

Betsy's Shower

Last weekend I hosted a bridal shower for my friend and former-coworker Betsy. We had a great time!

We had a lavender theme so Lucas dressed accordingly :)
