Birthday Fun!

Lucas turned 4 on July 10th and boy did we celebrate!  He had birthday strawberry pie (his request!) with one of his best buddies Tristan and the rest of the Morgan family after testing out his brand new Hotwheels (what else??) big boy bike!  Then on Sunday evening we celebrated with Grandma, Papa, Aunt Carol and many good friends at his Hotwheels themed birthday party.  I can't believe how big my baby boy is getting!

Visiting New Hampshire 2013

We had a wonderful visit with our Sewall/Linn family in New Hampshire for our annual July trip. I love the way the cousins interact and it's as if they can just sense they are family even though we aren't together often. We can't wait to see them again and miss them very much! XOXO

Strawberry Picking

This past weekend we had the perfect weather for strawberry picking.  We joined our good friends the Morgans at Hollins Farms to pick berries and then had a picnic lunch in the state park down the road.

 

Easter 2013

We decided to keep our Easter celebration very low key this year because we had just returned from Florida the day before.  The kids enjoyed opening the baskets they received from the Easter bunny and going on an egg hunt.  We talked about the Christian meaning of Easter and how it is the celebration of new life and a promise of God's forgiveness.  All in all it was a nice quiet holiday!

Well, I am WAY behind on my blogging!  We went to Florida again this past March to visit Gramma and Papa Parlato.  Although it was our chilliest trip yet, we had a great time!  Here are some pics from our vacation!
