Soccer Bugs

Lucas has been taking a soccer bugs class out at Dulles Sportsplex for a while now.  This year he is old enough to take the class on his own.  It is so cute to watch him play in his jersey!  My little boy is growing up so fast...

My sister Laura visited this past weekend from Rochester.  We really enjoyed her company!  Laura is an expert bowler, so I thought this would be the perfect time to introduce Lucas to the game.  As you will see in the pictures below, he had a great time!

Stribling Orchard 2012

It's that time of year again!  We made our first visit to the apple orchard a couple of weeks ago.  It's so nice to spend time outside in the crisp fall air with the family!  Here are some pictures of our day.

Lucas' first day of preschool 2012

This year at age 3 Lucas will return to St. Stephen's Preschool to be in the green room. He has two teachers, Mrs. Crandall and Mrs. Keller. There will be 12 kids in his class, 8 of them being boys. Bless those teachers!!! We are excited for another great year of school.

Seabreeze Park

I am way overdue on updating my blog! Last month we took a trip home to visit family and friends in Rochester, NY. I was so excited when my cousin Nicole suggested we take the kids to Seabreeze, an amusement park that delighted me when I was young. I was surprised at how many things Lucas could do at age 3. Even Allie got to join in the fun on some of the rides. I had just as much fun watching the kids enjoy themselves as I did many years ago riding on the rides myself.
