Allie is 10 Months Old!

Better late then never! Allie turned 10 months old on the 10th. She now has 7 teeth and is starting to wear size 12 month clothes. She naps for about an hour in the morning and a solid two hours in the late afternoon. (Hooray!) She cruises along the couch and can push her walker toy or her shopping cart around without help. She is also climbing up to get books down off the shelf or up the stairs! She has become far more vocal this month, and loves to point at things and say "that". She also likes to say "hi" and "duck", and is starting to say "mama" and "dada". She loves to clap and wiggle to music, and is overall a happy baby!

Valentine's Day 2012

The morning started off with heart shaped pancakes for breakfast and books from Grandma and Papa. Lucas then went off to nursery school for a fun day of crafts, activities and exchanging valentines. That evening before supper, Lucas and Allie each got their special Valentine's boxes. Lucas was excited to find a new Hotwheel car (he has so many yet this never gets old), book, teddy bear and chocolates. Allie received a book too, along with her first mini Cabbage Patch Doll and a few spring headbands. I was lucky to receive a new heart charm for my bracelet from Lucas and Allie, and daddy enjoyed the valentine they made for him with their hands. (Thank you Pinterest) It was a very sweet holiday!

Swim Lessons

Starting in January the kids have been taking swim lessons every weekend at OakMarr Recreation Center. We have been attending classes with our friends the Walsh Family. We are fortunate in that both kiddos love the water. We will be ready for Florida when we go visit Grandma and Papa next month!
